ASK LAB created the title sequence for Tears by Malbek feat. Shumno, developing a handcrafted typographic system that reflects the raw visual language of the music video. Instead of using conventional digital lettering, the typography was produced as a physical object, allowing the material itself to shape the final aesthetic.

Each letter was drawn by hand using transparent polymer adhesive and then photographed to preserve its organic texture, subtle imperfections, and sculptural depth. This analog process gave the titles a tactile quality that perfectly complements the rough, unpolished atmosphere of the film, making the typography feel like a natural extension of the video’s visual language rather than a graphic overlay. The result is a distinctive title sequence that demonstrates ASK LAB’s approach to motion design, where experimentation with physical materials becomes an essential part of visual storytelling.
