ASK LAB developed a series of collectible merchandise for the legendary film production company STV, the studio behind some of the most influential films in modern Russian cinema, including Brother, Brother 2, Zhmurki, Sisters, and Boomer. Instead of reproducing familiar posters or film stills, our Berlin-based creative team created an original graphic system built around subtle references to the visual language, characters, and iconic moments from these films.
The project included a range of designed objects such as apparel, a custom dartboard, and a deck of playing cards, each incorporating graphic elements derived from the films while functioning as independent design pieces. By translating cinematic symbolism into contemporary visual design, the collection bridges film culture and everyday objects, transforming memorabilia into a cohesive series of collectible items that resonate with both fans of the films and a broader design-oriented audience.
