ASK LAB developed a merchandise collection for musician SASH in support of his album NOT A FORMULA. The visual language was built around an existing portrait of the artist wearing a balaclava and holding a rose, which we transformed into a more grotesque and expressive graphic through a series of mixed media techniques.

The original photograph was deconstructed and reworked into a tactile visual composition, pushing the contrast between the concealed face and the delicate symbolism of the rose. Textures, distortions, and analog interventions gave the imagery a raw, unconventional character that reflects the experimental spirit of the album. The resulting graphics were adapted for merchandise, turning the campaign imagery into a wearable extension of the album’s visual identity.
