ASK LAB developed a series of three covers for Badlon Magazine, each created as a physical wooden object rather than a conventional printed cover. The magazine logo was constructed letter by letter and attached directly to the wood using screws.

Each cover represents a different state of physical transformation. The first was exposed to the sun until the material melted and warped. The second was run over by a car, while the third was burned with fire.

The three treatments turn the covers into records of destruction, using physical processes to create unique compositions. Instead of simply illustrating an idea, each cover was subjected to an actual event, making the material itself part of the visual narrative.
