ASK LAB created the artwork for By the Hand, the single by singer WokaWona, translating the intimacy and symbolism of the song into a sculptural composition. At the center of the project was a custom-made sculpture of intertwined hands enclosed within an ornate wooden frame, transforming a familiar gesture into an object that feels both personal and timeless.

Alongside the final artwork, our team developed several distinct visual concepts, each exploring different interpretations of the release while maintaining a shared aesthetic language. The strength of the series led the artist’s label, MLBC, to adopt an unusual approach, using a different cover across various streaming platforms. Rather than reducing the release to a single image, the project became a collection of interconnected visual identities, demonstrating how contemporary album artwork can expand beyond one static composition and create a richer experience around the music.
