ASK LAB created the cover artwork for single Pepel, the collaboration between Suzanna and Dose, translating the emotional tension of the song into a carefully constructed physical environment. Rather than relying on digital effects, the project was built around a custom-made plaster sculpture depicting two lovers reaching toward one another while remaining forever separated, reflecting the fragile and destructive nature of their relationship. The composition was staged around a pedestal shaped as a Gothic letter “S”, subtly referencing the artist’s identity while introducing a sense of monumentality. In the background, we installed a large-scale printed image of a stylized sky, creating an atmosphere that feels both dreamlike and unsettling. Together, sculpture, typography, and set design form a symbolic landscape where longing and distance coexist. The result is a visual interpretation of Pepel that transforms the song’s themes of obsessive love and emotional collapse into a tangible image, extending the music beyond sound into a complete visual narrative.
