ASK LAB created the cover artwork for DIRT by SASH, using analog mixed media techniques to build a visual language that reflects the raw atmosphere of the track. Rather than illustrating the song directly, we explored how texture, material, and physical intervention could communicate its emotional weight through image alone.

The artwork was developed through a combination of handcrafted processes, layering different materials and experimental techniques to create depth, imperfections, and rich surface textures. Each intervention became part of the final composition, allowing the image to feel tactile and unpredictable instead of digitally constructed. The result is an album cover that translates the mood of DIRT into a physical visual experience, demonstrating how contemporary music artwork can emerge through craftsmanship as much as graphic design.
