ASK LAB created the cover artwork for Kurtochka, the collaborative single by Moya Mishel and LSP, transforming a simple product photograph into a tactile, handcrafted composition. Starting with an image of the jacket provided by the artists, our team reworked it through a custom graphic language, integrating bold visual elements that expanded the identity of the original photograph while preserving its central role within the composition.
Rather than keeping the artwork purely digital, we translated the entire design into a physical object by constructing it as a handcrafted wooden panel. This process introduced texture, depth, and materiality, allowing the final cover to exist simultaneously as a graphic design and as a sculptural piece. By combining illustration, object making, and set production, ASK LAB created album artwork that blurs the boundaries between two-dimensional graphics and physical installation, giving the release a distinctive visual identity rooted in craftsmanship.
