ASK LAB developed the visual identity for British artist AMA JONES, creating the album artwork and a series of collectible objects that extended the release beyond digital platforms. Built around analog mixed media techniques, the project explored how physical craftsmanship can transform photography into a tactile visual experience.

The artwork began with glossy prints of the artist’s portraits, which were carefully cut into strips and handwoven into new compositions. Ink was then pressed through the woven seams, creating layered textures and unpredictable intersections that gave each image depth, movement, and a unique handcrafted quality. The final artwork balances precision with imperfection, allowing the physical process to become an essential part of the visual language.

To accompany the release, ASK LAB also designed a series of collectible pieces, including a three-dimensional sculptural interpretation of the album cover and custom USB drives containing the music. Together, these objects transformed the artwork into a physical experience, demonstrating how contemporary album design can exist simultaneously as graphic design, sculpture, and collectible product.
