ASK LAB created the cover artwork for Hour We On by British artist AMA JONES featuring Big Zuu, developing a visual identity rooted in analog craftsmanship rather than digital image manipulation. The project explored how physical processes can reshape photography, allowing the artwork to become as expressive as the music itself.

Working with printed portraits on glossy paper, our team manually cut the photographs into strips before weaving them back together into entirely new compositions. Ink was then pressed through the woven surface, allowing it to seep between the seams and create organic textures, subtle imperfections, and layered visual depth. Every stage of the process was completed by hand, resulting in artwork that feels tactile, unpredictable, and impossible to replicate digitally. The final image balances structure with spontaneity, transforming a traditional portrait into a distinctive mixed media composition that gives Hour We On a bold and memorable visual identity.
