ASK LAB developed the artwork for Welcome to My Mind, the EP by Spencer Barnett, with the visual concept created collaboratively by Anatoly Shabalin K. and Anton Reva. Built through analog mixed media techniques, the project explores the intersection of photography, material experimentation, and handcrafted image-making to create a visual identity that feels intimate, layered, and emotionally charged.

Rather than relying on conventional digital post-production, the artwork was developed through a series of physical interventions using mixed media processes that introduced texture, depth, and unpredictability into the final composition. Each layer contributed to a sense of fragmentation and movement, allowing the artwork to reflect the introspective character of the EP while maintaining a strong tactile presence. The result is an album cover where craftsmanship becomes part of the storytelling, demonstrating ASK LAB’s approach to creating distinctive visual identities for contemporary musicians through the combination of graphic design, analog techniques, and artistic experimentation.
